Hello, I am Gabriella Loscos and I am an artist currently exploring her style.
Starting at a young age I have always been drawn towards creating. In elementary, I was admitted to the gifted program for my artistic ability. As I aged, my love of creating art wavered as I turned my focus towards academics and I grew disconnected from the craft.
At 19, I dropped out of college where I was studying Engineering at University of California Santa Cruz, and embarked on a solo move to Boulder, Colorado.
In a year of working at home improvement stores, I was asked to apprentice for a contractor. This job connected me back to my creativity. I met friends dueing this time, who inspired me to pursue art again.
The summer of 2022, I moved back to my hometown in Los Angeles, and began at a local community college as a Studio Arts and Psych major.
This website encapsulates my artistic growth and exploration from August 2022 to now.
My goal is to combine my love for creating art with my passion to help others heal from their traumas and mental health issues using Art Therapy.

I am a student and artist in Los Angeles, CA pursuing a degree in both Studio Arts and Psychology to become an Art Therapist in recovery groups. Currently First Aid Certified and working on obtaining an RAD-T and CADC.
My long term goal is to combine my passion for artistic expression with my education in psychotherapy to develop an openly creative environment where clientele gain the ability to express themselves through their artwork in multiple mediums (fine arts, dance, music) and can use their own skills learned on self evaluation to help them heal from past or current trauma. Specific interest in working with exploring trauma work, expressing mental health struggles, and positive psychology through reframing.
Through my own recovery, I have used art to channel my own struggles that were more difficult for me to convey in talk therapy as well as improve my confidence in myself and my creative abilities. As my time in sobriety increased, I found my ability to sit and commit myself to creating a work of art had increased as well. Through my art, I have explored the use of multiple mediums I had been hesitant to use prior and enjoyed the freedom of this practice. My art has helped me express myself in creative ways that I hope to encourage for others.
My experience dealing with my own mental health recovery connects me to others who have had the same experiences in a deeply intimate way.
